Lynda Trimber Horn

Lynda Trimber Horn, age 72, of Albemarle, NC, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter under Hospice care on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Lynda was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 9, 1946 to her loving parents, F. Russell Trimber, Sr. and Sylvia H. Trimber.? Her family moved to Stanly County when she was thirteen.? Lynda graduated from Albemarle Senior High in 1963.? She attended Western Carolina University for one year following her graduation.? Lynda worked for Partnership Property Management at Creekridge in Albemarle as the site manager. Lynda will be missed beyond measure by her family.? She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother (and Grammy) and great-grandmother.? She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis Russell Trimber, Sr. and Sylvia Hepfer Trimber, her brother, Russell (Rusty) Trimber, and her beloved niece, Kristi Kirk Flagg and nephew Nelson Russell Kirk. She leaves behind her adoring family: three daughters, Holly Harris Jackson of Asheboro, NC; Lydia Harris (William Hinson) of Albemarle, NC; Robyn Horn Brown (Darrell) of Spring Lake, NC; six granddaughters: Brittany Baldwin of Greensboro, NC, Brandi (Sweet Pea) Baldwin of Asheboro, NC, Arrissa Baldwin of Asheboro, NC, Onna Brown, Allyson Brown and Emma Brown all of Spring Lake, NC; one great-granddaughter, Amaya Grace Baldwin of Asheboro; two sisters, Sylvia Coleman (Ken) of Stanfield, NC and Nancy Kirk (Nelson) of Oakboro, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Although our hearts break over our loss, we celebrate knowing that she is at peace in heaven now.? We invite you to join us for a time of visitation on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 6 to 7 pm and a Celebration of Life Service from 7 to 8 pm, both at Stanly Funeral Home?s Chapel, Albemarle, NC.? Following the service, friends and family are then invited to the home of her daughter, 605 Prospect Church Road in Albemarle for a time of fellowship.
